The Thixendale based business will launch a Lemon and Poppy Seed Dressing and a Yorkshire Hollandaise at the prestigious Fine Food Show which takes place in Harrogate this Sunday 19th and Monday 20th June.

Marketing Manager Jennie Palmer said: “We’re always getting new product ideas from our lovely customers, so it’s a joy to be able to develop and launch a couple of the suggestions we’ve had.

“Yorkshire Hollandaise tops the list of ‘most requested’ products and we’re really pleased with outcome.  It’s made from our award winning cold pressed rapeseed oil and free range Yorkshire eggs and is a deliciously classic accompaniment to eggs, fish, seafood or vegetables like fresh, local asparagus.

“The Lemon and Poppy Seed Dressing is fresh and zingy, fabulously versatile dressing. It’s superb drizzled onto fish, stirred through salads and couscous and used to dress chicken for quick, easy and delicious meals.”

Yorkshire Rapeseed Oil was established in 2008 by Adam and Jennie Palmer on their family farm in the heart of the Yorkshire Wolds.  After starting out by producing a range of oils, the family business has now expanded their range to include dressings and mayonnaises made exclusively from rapeseed oil grown in the area and blended, bottled and labelled on the family farm.

The oil, which is available at farm shops and delis, online and at farmers markets throughout the region, is also used in Michelin starred kitchens, including the Pipe and Glass at South Dalton, and all products are preservative, GM and gluten free as well as being suitable for vegetarians.
