Yorkshire Bank becomes first patron member of Deliciouslyorkshire

Yorkshire Bank was founded in 1859 in Halifax, West Yorkshire by Colonel Edward Akroyd. Today, with our head office in Leeds, we have more than 90 branches, plus 22 business and private banking centres in the north of England and the Midlands. Our brand is built on strong foundations, dedicated to serving the people, businesses and communities around us. Our name is a clue to our difference. It signals a sense of place and a pride in being a bank. By supporting our communities, businesses and individuals, we want to help grow a bright and prosperous future for the region.

We are delighted to be the first patron member of Deliciouslyorkshire, this year-long patronship will see Yorkshire Bank playing an integral part in marketing campaigns, being involved in the various events Deliciouslyorkshire organise, and offering financial support to members. As champions of businesses in the region, both organisations are committed to supporting SMEs grow and develop, and it’s this shared ethos that has resulted in this partnership.

Paul Wells, Commercial Banking Area Manager, said: “Yorkshire is a great place to do business and Deliciouslyorkshire is a well-respected organisation, with large area of focus on the agriculture and food & drink industries, two of our core sectors. The team has created a business community that showcases the best products and services the region has to offer and their approach to supporting their members sits with our own ethos. We are delighted to be their first patron member and the team is looking forward to meeting the members, being involved in the extensive calendar of events and providing any financial advice and guidance we can to support SMEs in the region.”
