Yorkshire Dairy Producers Unite to Create Unique Ice Cream

Two award winning Dales dairy producers have teamed up to create a unique new product.

New ice creamBrymor Ice Cream of Masham have collaborated with the Hawes based Wensleydale Creamery to create an ice cream inspired by their famous signature dish; Yorkshire Wensleydale and Ginger Cheesecake

Renowned for their range of 40 different flavours of ice cream and sorbets made using Guernsey milk and cream from their own pedigree herd, the partnership sees Brymor combining their award winning ice cream with the world famous Yorkshire Wensleydale Cheese along with a biscuit crumb.

The delicious new ice cream has the subtle flavour of cheese, ginger and a note of buttery biscuits and will be available exclusively at Byrmor’s Ice Cream Parlour at High Jervaulx near Masham and The Wensleydale Creamery Visitor Centre in Hawes.

In addition to their ever popular traditional range of flavours, Brymor has created a number of innovative combinations with local producers over recent months including Riggwelter Raisin Ripple Rum made with The Black Sheep Brewery’s strong Riggwelter Ale and Sloe Gin Truffle made with Sloe Motion’s Sloe Gin infused Ganache.
