Sarah Puckett

Puckett's Pickles

Sarah was born in Devon to a seafaring family. She grew up in Scotland and spent some of her childhood on an Aberdeen Angus Farm in Perthshire. Between Devon and Perthshire she has learnt the value of British Produce whether they be Farmers, Fishermen or local Producers. “My Mother taught me the importance of local food, and to demand the very best—not just from ingredients and suppliers but from myself, too. She always taught us to give thanks for the food on our plates” Sarah worked for Pret A Manger for 15 years so saw it grow from a small London company to the hugely successful International Brand it is today. She achieved many things from: opening the first Pret in New York; to delivering sandwiches to Buckingham Palace; to running Pret Operations for the North of England. Whilst at Pret Sarah took 3 months off and sailed around Great Britain in order to achieve her Yachtmasters Certificate. Not one to sit back and relax Sarah decided to leave Pret and set up Puckett’s Pickles. Using everything she has learnt to celebrate glorious Yorkshire produce. Sarah brings a fresh and different view point from working with such a dynamic and exuberant brand. Sarah’s drive and tenacity will support the Deliciouslyorkshire Board.
