The Little Red Berry Co set for a busy summer

Ripon based liqueur and flavoured gin manufacturer The Little Red Berry Co is set for a busy summer of Yorkshire events this year including supplying the tipples for The Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution at the Great Yorkshire Show.

The company, founded by Rachel Jamieson in 2011 will be supplying their award winning Strawberry Vodka Liqueur for a Yorkshire style Pimm’s at the prestigious event.

The Little Red Berry team will also be manning their stand in the food hall, (Stand 584) where they will be sampling and selling their delicious liqueurs and flavoured gins and taking up a pitch as part of the Welcome to Yorkshire are (Stand 704) on Tuesday 11th July.

Owner Rachel said: “July is always a busy month for us, and our favourite event of the season is the Great Yorkshire Show which we always look forward to.

“This year however is going to be extra special with our involvement in the RABI event. I come from a farming family, so when we were asked to get involved we were delighted to help.  Since starting the company we’ve always tried to source our fruit from local growers and work with local farms such as Spilman’s fruit farm in Thirsk, the Side Oven Bakery near Driffield and Herbs Unlimited in Sand Hutton.  Yorkshire offers a great supply of local food and we should take full advantage of that.”

As well as Yorkshire’s premier Agricultural Show, The Little Red Berry team will also be manning their new Little Berry Bar at outdoor events across the summer.  The bar, which is made from a converted horsebox and is already a staple feature at shows and point to points offers a alternative to the traditional beer tent by serving their ward-winning liqueurs and flavoured gins.
