Deliciously Yorkshire (DY) in collaboration with the Yorkshire Food Farming and Rural Network (YFFRN) will be delivering a part-funded Legal Labelling Course for Food Producers who are self-employed or employed by an SME based in rural North Yorkshire Authority area.

Delivered by specialist training provider, Verner Wheelock.

This course is designed to provide a working knowledge of legislative requirements for food composition and labelling which will enable delegates to confidently assess product specifications, pack copy and artwork for legality.

Learning Outcomes

At the close of the course you will have an increased knowledge and understanding of the laws relating to pack copy creation and legal labelling.
You will be aware of the impact of retailer policy and be able to produce ‘right first time’ specifications.

Qualification / Assessment
There is no formal assessment on this course, but you will receive a Verner Wheelock certificate of attendance.
