Side Oven Bakery Easter Trail Returns

Side Oven Bakery based at Foston on the Wolds are to hold their popular Easter Trail event again next week.

Based at Carr House Farm, the event will take place on Friday 18th April (Good Friday) from 10am – 3pm with both the farm and bakery open to the public.

The day will include a special Easter Trail around the beautiful organic farm, run in partnership with North Frodingham PTFA, with all proceeds going towards providing funds for North Frodingham Primary School. Alongside the trail, visitors will also be able to enjoy face painting, a tuck shop and tombola and raffle, and Pick Your Own Organic Rhubarb will be available in the soft fruit orchard too.

Situated on the edge of the Yorkshire Wolds near Driffield, the Farm is where the Sellers family have lived and worked for 5 generations, producing a wide range of cereals which are used to create their award-winning organic products including breakfast cereals, bread mixes, fruit loaves, oatcakes and much more in the bakery.

The bakery will be open throughout the day serving a huge range of breads, croissant, cakes, hot cross buns, alongside many more Easter Treats and hot and cold refreshments will also be available. 

The Open Day is free of charge with the Easter Trail itself costing £4 per child (Adults go free). Tickets will include a trail map and a chocolate egg prize upon completion.
