Malton based producer, Sloemotion are marking their tenth year in business this month with the launch of the tenth product in their hedgerow-liqueur based range.
The locally made tipple also lends itself perfectly to a number of cocktails, including the Damson 90, which the team have created to mark the Queen’s 90th birthday this month and includes one part Damson Vodka, one part elderflower cordial and topped up with champagne for a truly celebratory cocktail!
The newest additional to the family run businesses’ product range will sit on the shelf alongside their range of eight multi-award winning liqueurs and their Sloemotion No.7 Fruit Cup. Not wanting to waste a drop, the company also uses the alcohol-infused fruit from the liqueur making process to make a mouth-watering range of chocolate truffles, as well as a punchy sloe chutney, a damson chutney and a sloe jelly.
Director of Sloemotion Jonathan Curtoys said: “We are thrilled to launch a tenth product, particularly as it happens to be Sloemotion’s 10th year in production! The Damson Vodka complements our range of liqueurs and we are hoping will prove equally as popular as it’s sister liqueur, our Damson Gin, which was awarded a Bronze at the World Gin Awards in 2014 and is a firm favourite with our customers.”
