It all started by accident!
Our founder and in house distiller, Bryn never set out to be a gin distiller, there’s no master plan (sometimes there’s barely a plan at all).
Being a serial hobbyist and never really sticking to one thing has finally paid off, partly due to the fact that running a distillery involves a lot of things besides making the actual spirits. Partly because it led to a series of events that ended up in Gin!
From a simple shed and kitchen, we have progressed to a grade 2 listed building with a rich heritage in Sheffield’s industrial past. Baltic works has a rich history and is an important part of Sheffield.
Everything we do is of the highest standard. We have one major rule that has been instilled from day one, that is that all of our products are made ONLY using REAL ingredients.
