- The promoter of this competition is The Regional Food Group for Yorkshire and the Humber (trading / known as Deliciously Yorkshire), Regional Agricultural Society, Great Yorkshire Showground, Harrogate HG2 8NZ.
- Entrants must be registered as a food business, and be based within Yorkshire, or within a 10 mile radius of the border with Yorkshire.
- Entrants must complete the online entry form at www.deliciouslyorkshire.co.uk and pay online to confirm their entry. All entries must be paid for in full before judging.
- To benefit from the DY members’ discount on Taste Awards entry fees, membership must be fully up to date at the time of judging.
- You may at any point revoke your entry by emailing team@deliciouslyorkshire.co.uk however entry fees will not be refundable.
- Entries for all categories close on Friday 31st July 2025 at 5pm. Entries submitted after this time will not be included unless by prior agreement.
- Product judging will take place during 1st / 2nd / 3rd September 2026 at the Great Yorkshire Events Centre – exact dates for the judging of fresh product categories will be confirmed in due course. It is the responsibility of entrants to ensure that their entries are complete and that their products are delivered to us at the relevant date and time instructed. Any late entrants may not be included in the judging at the discretion of the Deliciously Yorkshire team.
- We will take appropriate care to ensure safe keeping of all entries throughout the judging process. However, we cannot be held responsible for this safe keeping.
- We regret that no products submitted for judging can be returned to the entrant.
- Our awards shortlist will be published at the end of September.
- We reserve the right to reject any entries, including inappropriate entries or entries that do not enter into the spirit of the competition, for any reason at our sole discretion.
- We reserve the right to limit the number of entries per category.
- We reserve the right to split any category, and to determine which sub-category an entry will be judged under at our discretion.
- We reserve the right to move entries between categories if we feel they would be more appropriately placed for any reason in a different area at our sole discretion.
- We reserve the right to withdraw the competition entirely or remove categories if there are insufficient entries.
- The decisions of our judging panels are final in all matters relating to the awards, and no correspondence will be entered into.
- By submitting an entry, you grant us the right to use any copy, image or logo entered as part of that entry for the Awards marketing both online and in print.
- The winner(s) agree(s) to the use of their name and image in any publicity material relating to the competition. We will process any personal data collected as part of the competition according to applicable UK data protection legislation.
- We reserve the right to alter/amend/vary these Terms and Conditions.
- Submitting an entry as described above or accepting our invitation will be deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.
