The team at Cedarbarn Farm Shop and Café are celebrating after winning a prestigious regional farming award.
The Pickering based business was announced as the winner of the Food Retailer/Producer of the Year Award category in the Northern Farmer Awards which were unveiled at a ceremony in Harrogate recently.
Organised by the Northern Farmer magazine and featuring charity partner, The Farming Community Network, the awards celebrate the farmers who work tirelessly to keep the nation fed.
The category itself rewards businesses producing or showing the county’s finest food on show for all to savour, from farm shops, markets, farmers, growers and manufacturers, and the team beat stiff competition from Hutchinson Hobbs and Knitsley Farm Shop to be named winner.
