A food industry veteran who launched a consultancy business to help companies with their compliance and sustainability needs has won a sustainability award at the annual Management Consultancy Awards.
Thorne-based Warhurst Associates, founded by former Cranswick head of compliance and sustainability Garry Warhurst in 2023, was nominated by the team at Wealth & Finance International for the Best Sustainability-Led Compliance Consultancy 2025 thanks to a series of initiatives, including carbon neutrality, carbon footprint reporting, sustainability ethos and support of SMEs.
Mr Warhurst said: “This is the most exciting news since we became carbon neutral in 2024, two years ahead of target.
