The team at a Thixendale based family farming business is repeating their EAT Yorkshire promotion for a sixth year this month, with the aim to connect local businesses for the benefit of their customers.
Following the success of previous collaborations, Jennie Palmer from Yorkshire Rapeseed Oil approached selected Yorkshire food and drink businesses to participate in the annual campaign which offers consumers 10% off online sales with participating local producers throughout March.
Jennie said: “We’re delighted to welcome eight new producers as we celebrate our sixth EAT Yorkshire campaign that showcases some of Yorkshire’s finest producers.
“What started off as a way of connecting businesses and customers during lockdown has turned into an annual celebration of local food and drink and we now have 32 producers on board, including newcomers Dunesford, Gordon Rhodes, Aagrah foods, Cridling kombucha, Wildman charcuterie, Roost coffee, Norse coffee liqueur and Yorkshire Mushroom Emporium.
“This is the biggest number of producers since we started, so we’re very pleased that the campaign is growing and more Yorkshire businesses are getting involved.
An EAT Yorkshire landing page is available on the Yorkshire Rapeseed Oil website now which includes links to each participant’s website where the EATYORKSHIRE code can be redeemed for 10% off on online orders between 1st to 31st March.
