Leeds based wholesaler J L Brooks Ltd celebrated the grand opening of their new larger premises earlier this month, marking over 100 years of supporting fellow Yorkshire Businesses.
J L Brooks Ltd Managing Director David Longfellow welcomed special guests Katie White, MP for Leeds North West along with Bernard Green, a past owner of the business and grandson of the original founder of J L Brooks, to officially cut the ribbon and open their new 30,000 sq ft premises in Horsforth Vale.
Founded in 1920, J L Brooks Ltd has been providing high-quality wholesale products to over 3000 businesses throughout Leeds and beyond including drinks, snacks and catering goods to help local businesses thrive.
Growing and evolving alongside the businesses they support, the company started with one van delivering locally and now trade from 2 locations in Yorkshire, with a fleet of over 18 delivery vans and counting.
MD David Longfellow said: “We are thrilled to open the doors to our new home, a reflection of both our growth and commitment to the Yorkshire community.
“This wouldn’t be possible without the hard work of our staff, both here and in our North East Depot, as well as the diverse range of customers we serve. Thank you for all your support.
“Being a Leeds-based business for over 100 years is a source of immense pride for us, and we are excited to continue supporting local businesses for years to come.”
