At Baytown Coffee Company, we roast coffee with character, bold, honest, and shaped by the elements. From our roastery just outside Whitby, we source exceptional coffees from across the globe, always with provenance, sustainability, and flavour at the fore.

Our coffee programme is led by Ted, our Head of Coffee and certified Q Grader, whose expertise ensures every bean we roast meets the highest standards of quality and traceability. Working closely with trusted importers and long-standing producer partners, Ted carefully selects coffees that reflect their origin and roast beautifully, whether it’s a rich, chocolatey blend or a bright, fruit-forward single origin.

Roasted in small batches and packed in planet-friendly materials, our coffee is made to be enjoyed, wherever the day takes you.

You’ll find Baytown served across the region, from The Fat Badger in Whitby (part of the HRH Group of Hotels) and Whitby Seafoods, to Saltmoore, a wellness space supported by consultant chef Tommy Banks. We also proudly fuel Scarborough Rugby Union and support charities including St Catherine’s Hospice, the Dalewood Trust and the Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust.

Alongside our coffees, we offer a full trade service, helping businesses choose the right equipment, installing machines, and delivering hands-on training and technical support.
