Get to know more about Milk from the Hills…
The Hill family have been farming in the area for four generations. James and Alex Hill returned to the family farm in 2018 and launched Milk From The Hills in 2022, with the idea of selling their own milk directly to local customers. Our core value is to sell fresh, pasturised, non homogenised whole milk straight from the farm to the public.
We don’t just produce and sell milk we also produce and sell, milkshakes, frozen yogurt and more recently our homemade gelato using our own milk. Anything we can’t produce ourselves, we buy in from other local business’s for example butter, honey, fruit juice and local meat. We now have vending machines in 9 different local locations with another 2 new locations coming very soon.
We use refillable glass bottles at all our locations, so this means no single use plastic is being added to the environment. In May this year we opened The Old Grain Silo which is our gelato and dessert parlour. In there we sell all our homemade gelato, coffee, cakes, thickshakes and some delicious warm desserts.
