It all began back in 2003 when Mr Moo’s Real Dairy Ice Cream was established on the beautiful East Yorkshire coast. After much ice cream tasting, we opened our doors for the first time and the production of our award winning range of ice cream flavours commenced. We went from milking cows to scooping and designing delicious ice cream sundaes. There are now over 30 different flavours to sample, all without artificial colours or flavours. We have never looked back!
Since then, the ice cream parlour has expanded in size to become an fully-functioning café, with indoor and outdoor seating. Our extensive menu includes breakfasts, lunches (paninis, sandwiches, pies, salads, jacket potatoes, and burgers), and a delicious selection of cakes and pastries to enjoy for morning coffee or afternoon tea (with tea and coffee from Taylors of Harrogate). The star attraction has to be our mouthwatering ice cream sundaes though – definitely not to be missed!
After visiting the café (or before, if you want to work up an appetite!), why not take a stroll down to the beach on our farm walk? It’s a lovely path through trees and open farmland, which leads you straight to the beach where you can enjoy your ice cream. Before you leave, don’t forget to buy a tub of ice cream to take home with you – it’s available to buy from the café in 120ml, 500ml, and 1 litre tubs.
Looking to stay a while longer? We have a CL site for caravan club members (adults only) situated right next to the ice cream parlour and café, with an adjacent paddock for non-members and rally field for families. The sites are welcoming and well-equipped, with a heated showers and toilets, fresh water, grey water / chemical disposal, and rubbish disposal. Electric hookups, hardstanding and grass pitches are all available. Dogs are welcome on leads.
