Nestled in the Wharfe Valley just outside of Tadcaster, St Helen’s Farm has been traditionally farmed by generations of the Watson family. In 1999 Jonnie Watson converted the land over to organic and they have not looked back. Now growing from seed over 40 varieties of vegetable, cereal and salad crops The Organic Pantry is a thriving business supplying homes and businesses throughout the northeast of England.
Certified by the Soil Association, our organic produce is available through our Box Scheme, Farmer’s Markets and our own on-site farm shop. We also have a thriving wholesale business and can supply all our fruit and vegetables on a larger scale. We will deliver straight to your door throughout the North of England, Yorkshire, Derbyshire and Northumberland. We also offer an extensive organic shop online with organic boxes, vegetables, fruit, meat, dairy and all your pantry needs! In recent years we have developed our own line of packaged and processed organic vegetables, ideal for mass catering and retail outlets alike.
Our customers love the flexibility a bespoke, local box scheme offers alongside consistent, high quality fresh produce. The heart of what we do is our customers, many of whom have been with us since our conception, 17 years ago, they have become part of our larger family and shaped the business we have become. Our weekly newsletters are informed by what our customers bring back to us as much as by what is going on here at the farm. We are continually learning from them about new dietary and health research along with local endeavours to protect and preserve natural habitats. We have a built a network for customers with health or dietary challenges and try and support anyone who comes to us trying to make lifestyle changes.
