Description

The Yorkshire Food Farming and Rural Network, which Deliciouslyorkshire are part of the Executive Committee for, has secured legacy funding from the Partnership Investment Fund Limited, to offer a training support programme for the benefit of rural and farming SMEs in North Yorkshire.

The aim of the programme is to enhance knowledge in basic business skills and support businesses in gaining accredited practical skills training to enhance and retain a skilled work force in North Yorkshire’s farming and rural communities. The training support programme will offer financial support towards essential and/or accredited courses, continuous professional development, or further education. Funding is limited and places will be given on a first-come basis. We will however run a waiting list for each course and will assess a repetition of popular courses in 2023.

The training offer will be focused around six themes:

Environmental
Health and Safety
Farm business skills and accounting
Mental health and well-being
Countryside education
Local food producers accredited courses
