A new North Yorkshire based business is aiming to take the hassle out of cooking whilst supporting Yorkshire food and drink producers by delivering fresh local produce along with a series of recipes direct to customer’s doors.
SNAP! Yorkshire Recipe Boxes, run by family trio Charles, Sophie and Geoff Allen from their base in Thirsk allows customers to order recipe boxes jam-packed with an array of fresh local ingredients. Each box includes two evening meal recipes and one tasty brunch recipe for two or four people and is complete with everything needed to create the meals including, step-by-step instructions and cooking tips.
As well as focusing on fresh locally sourced ingredients the recipe boxes are a great way of cutting down on food waste as each recipe box contains premeasured and chilled ingredients for the three quick and delicious meals.
Charles said, “The recipe box concept has really taken off in the last couple of years and it lends itself perfectly to the Yorkshire region which boasts so much top-notch locally produced food and drink. It’s all about convenience, saving our customers precious time and offering flexibility when it comes to mealtimes. We make it easy and simple for our customers to source, cook and eat fresh local ingredients by partnering with some exceptional local farmers, independent growers and artisan producers who share our values of quality and taste.
Our Woolcool and Sorba Freeze insulating packaging keep your ingredients cool and fresh in your recipebox for up to 24 hours. It’s straightforward, hassle-free and perfect for the weekend, so get ready for an exciting journey of culinary discovery!”
