FixOurFood is an ambitious research programme inspiring action across Yorkshire to co-create a regenerative food system. Led out of the School for Business and Society at the University of York the programme is underpinned by a robust evidence base; pioneering, envisioning, and stimulating respectful debate to drive transformation to ensure healthy people and a healthy planet.
To achieve this we are focussing on schools, hybrid business models and regenerative farming, alongside a comprehensive team of stakeholders and academic partner institutions to harness their expertise and innovative minds. The team is also developing new measures to help stakeholders understand the impact of decisions taken within the food system and identifying which policies and governance structures are needed to support transformative change.
