Harrogate based Weetons are celebrating 20 years in business this summer.
Founded by a group of local farmers in a bid to promote, share and serve the very best local and British produce, they opened the doors to their much-loved Food Hall on West Park in Harrogate back in 2005.
Gaining national recognition and awards over the last two decades, including being named amongst the Top 100 Shops in the World in the Daily Express, in 2024 the team opened their impressive new flagship store on Leeds Road after taking over the former Crimple Food Hall site.
A destination in its own right, the new premises offers visitors a huge selection of locally sourced food and drink in the Food Hall, along with dedicated bakery and butchery counters, whilst the restaurant serves up carefully crafted seasonal menus featuring a blend of classic and modern British cuisine, deeply rooted in the region’s heritage.
The new site also boasts an impressive space available for event and private hire, and is ideal for larger celebrations from weddings and birthdays, through to smaller gatherings and community events.
Already awarded both RIBA Regional and Sustainability Awards, the team kicked off their anniversary celebrations earlier this month with a weekend-long party for customers and will be hosting more celebrations, giveaways, in-store tastings, and special offers throughout the rest of the summer.
