York’s newest attraction officially opened its doors recently after months of work to transform a former swimming pool into an exciting new events space.
Created by the makers of York Gin, the new distillery has been created in what was previously the pool house at Middletons Hotel on Skeldergate and will give visitors the opportunity to make their very own unique gin.
The distillery features a bar and several spirit making stations, complete with copper stills, and guests will have the opportunity to choose from a range of different ingredients displayed on the shelves, to infuse their drinks with and create something truly bespoke.
The new space will also host tastings and cocktail-making classes as well as allowing the team at York Gin more space to create new flavours for their award-winning range.
