Yorkshire Kitchen and Spirit of Yorkshire collaborate on new product

The Yorkshire Kitchen and Filey based Spirit of Yorkshire Distillery have joined forces to create a new Whisky Butter.

Sarah Stokes, owner of The Yorkshire Kitchen who create a range of high quality, homemade dessert accompaniments made with the finest Yorkshire butter said: “We’re thrilled to release our latest product, which is a collaboration between two passionate Yorkshire businesses.  Using Filey Bay Flagship single malt whisky has given our new Whisky Butter delicious notes of caramel, honey and vanilla, all in our classic light, fluffy butter.”

“We’re really proud of our Yorkshire roots and passionate about working with other businesses from the region to source our ingredients, so we tasted Filey Bay Flagship, I knew it would work perfectly in a whisky butter. 

“It’s delicious spread on to biscuits, fruit cake, or dolloped on to a warm apple crumble, and we can’t wait for everyone to try it.”

The new butter joins their expanding product range including brandy, orange, coffee, salted caramel, vanilla and chocolate butters, which are available to buy online at theyorkshirekitchen.com and stocked at farm shops and independent retailers throughout the region.
