Yorkshire Sausage Business set to Expand

The British Premium Sausage Company are set to expand their operations after an exciting move to a new production facility.

The North Yorkshire based company are celebrating the business milestone after acquiring a new manufacturing site in Leeming Bar near Northallerton in 2022 and have since invested heavily in upgrading operations and facilities, with new machinery, expanded production lines and enhanced infrastructure.

The new site is now fully operational and will allow the business to bring all their operations together under one roof, improving efficiency and scaling up production.

As part of this move, the team will be vacating their previous Normanton location over the coming months and putting the site up for sale.

Born out of a desire to simply make a great sausage, managing director Ian Cundell teamed up with industry specialist, finance director Andy Dalton, and set to work perfecting their now award-winning range.

Initially beginning manufacturing from a small food making facility in Bradford, West Yorkshire, the company quickly expanded and their products, which include Cumberland, Pork and Leek, Yorkshire Box and even Old Epping, can now be found in Waitrose, Ikea and Tesco’s to name but a few and are exported across the globe as far afield as Australia and Papa New Guinea.
