The team at Yorkshire Wolds Apple Juice have created a unique new product in partnership with RHS Harlow Carr.
The new juice has been specially pressed by husband-and-wife team Jane and Jon Birch alongside Joe Lofthouse, Harlow Carr’s Kitchen gardener using 1/3 tonne of apples carefully selected from the gardens in Harrogate.
The newly pressed juice has been created specifically to be served in RHS Harlow Carr’s new eatery, The Harrogate Arms, an exciting redevelopment of an early Victorian hotel, which has been carefully transformed into a new café space for visitors to the iconic garden to enjoy.
Jane Birch said: “We were so delighted to be approached by the team at Harlow Carr to create this juice using apples from their own garden. In total, it includes 5 different traditional varieties which were picked at the end of October and pressed using our traditional cold press at the beginning of November.
“The result has been taste tested by the team here and at Harlow and we’re delighted to report that it’s delicious! We can’t wait for the visitors at The Harrogate Arms to try it too.”
