A Taste of Harewood at Home.

The team at the Harewood Food and Drink project are set to continue their innovative take away meal boxes with the launch of their 2021 Harewood at Home and Lockdown Bistro nights.

Offering customers a taste of luxury during the current winter lockdown the team will be providing the same exciting and progressive menus to be enjoyed from the comfort of your own home.

Director of the Harewood Food and Drink Project Eddy Lascelles said: “We had a great response to our takeaway boxes in 2020 and particularly to our festive menus which proved really popular.  There’s plenty to look forward to during the current lockdown though with our new Harewood at Home and Lockdown Bistro menus.

“Whilst we’d love to be welcoming everyone here to Harewood again, sadly that’s not possible right now so instead, we’re coming to you and out our upcoming menus will give you some of the small luxuries we all need right now.”

Acclaimed as one of the most innovative and progressive food & drink companies in the north, The Harewood Food & Drink Project are famed for creating unique and immersive pop-up dining events hosted in hidden corners around the Estate.

The award winning team also run the Muddy Boot’s Café in Harewood village and recently over the running of the Courtyard Cafe and newly renamed Terrace Tearoom on behalf of Harewood House Trust.

The first boxes were available to order this weekend for Burns night and the programme continues into February with regular Lockdown Bistro menus and a special 7 course Valentine’s Day edition also being announced next week.

Designed by Executive Chef Josh Whitehead, the boxes feature seasonal produce, much of it reared, grown and foraged from the Harewood Estate itself.

The next Lockdown Bistro box is available to order for the 29th January.  The two or three course menu includes both meat and vegetarian options including Rolled Breast Of Lamb with a white bean & pancetta stew served with confit potato terrine with dijon mustard mayonnaise & chives or harissa baked aubergine with preserved lemon & giant cous-cous served with confit potato terrine with dijon mustard mayonnaise & chives.

Each menu comes with clear and simple instructions on how to finish off the dishes at home and boxes are to be collected from the Hovels on the Estate.  For more information and to order online visit www.harewoodfoodanddrink.com
