Apples, Wool and Halloween event

East Yorkshire based Side Oven Bakery are gearing up to welcome the public tomorrow for their on-farm Apples, Wool & Halloween event.

The free event which take place at the family run company’s base at Carr House Farm, Foston on the Wolds is open to all and will celebrate their organic apple harvest.  Visitors will be able to get involved in pressing their own apple juice and apple bobbing as well as their educational heritage apple display.

The Side Oven team will also be celebrating British Wool Week which takes place this month with a display of some of the Wool produced by their longwool flock of rare breed Teeswater sheep.

There will also be a fine selection of locally grown Pumpkins for sale perfect for carving ready for Halloween and the bakery will be stocked with their usual range of artisan breads, cakes, croissant & sweetbuns – with a hint of Halloween!

Hot and cold refreshments will be available throughout the day and guided walks around the organic orchards will be setting off at 10:30am and 1:30pm
