Award winning artisan liqueur business opens unique Little Berry Bar

A North Yorkshire artisan spirit company has taken delivery of a bespoke mobile bar to extend the reach of its award winning liqueurs.

The Little Berry Bar with Rachel and Rob JamiesonRipon based The Little Red Berry Co. commissioned the restoration of a vintage rice trailer to create a unique, mobile cocktail bar that has been named ‘Little Berry Bar’.

Little Berry Bar has taken 12 months to reach fruition, but the company’s founder, Rachel Jamieson, is delighted with the end result: “Our original idea was to commission a vintage style mobile cocktail bar to fill a growing demand for the wedding and private events markets and Little Berry is perfect for the job. Her red and cream appearance definitely makes her a she! She works really well with our brand and she stands out from the crowd.

“Yorkshire boasts such a wide range of beautiful wedding, party and corporate events venues and Little Berry would suit marquee and outdoor venues and anyone who is in need of a cocktail bar with a difference!”

Little Berry Bar is available for cocktail hire and will create rustic cocktails from the company’s liqueur range including ‘Damson in a Dress’ (Damson Gin Liqueur with Orange and Prosecco) and ‘Raspberry Zing Bling'(Fresh raspberries, Basil, Raspberry Gin Liqueur, Soda water, Lime juice).

Little Berry Bar, who has her own twitter feed, @LittleBerryBar, will be at a number of wedding fairs over the coming weeks as well as Otley Christmas Market on 4th December. Hire enquiries are welcomed at info@thelittleredberry.co.uk.

Former events manager Rachel, who ran weddings and events for five years before setting up The Little Red Berry Co. said: “There is so much more scope for new and different event services now. Quirky options simply weren’t available when I started in the event industry ten years ago, so it’s so exciting to be able to run with an exciting new trend.”

Rachel runs the artisan company with husband Rob and a growing team. The team has celebrated its most successful year to date and have recently taken delivery of a new 300 litre stainless steel tank to satisfy the increased demand for its gin and liqueurs.

“We have recently expanded the team in preparation for Christmas and now have someone looking after our online accounts and social media in house. Having just taken on a 13 week contract to supply the new John Lewis store in Leeds on the run up to Christmas, it’s all go at Berry HQ!”

The Little Red Berry Company’s range includes Guild of Fine Food starred Strawberry Vodka Liqueur and Blackcurrant Vodka Liqueur and are available from festivals, independent retailers and online at www.thelittleredberry.co.uk and www.notonthehighstreet.com/thelittleredberryco
