An award-winning baker and master preserve maker is set to share her expertise at a new hands-on workshop in Middlesbrough.
Rosalind Waugh, founder of Rosalind’s Larder, will join forces with Emma Donoghue of The Hummersea Bakehouse to host the first-ever Sourdough and Sauerkraut Masterclass at The LiveWell Centre on 24 July.
Priced at £150, the exclusive session is limited to just six participants, offering a full day of expert tuition. Attendees will learn how to bake the perfect sourdough loaf alongside mastering the art of creating sauerkraut from scratch.
All equipment will be provided, including a Kilner jar for fermenting, with participants taking home one freshly baked loaf and another ready to bake themselves. Lunch and refreshments will also be included throughout the day.
Rosalind said: “These classes are always a pleasure to teach, and I really enjoy sharing my expertise with participants. We hope to run similar sessions in the future, so watch this space for more details.”
