The Spiced Pear, Hepworth chef Tim Bilton will be using every trick in the book at a live cookery demo at Waterstones Huddersfield on Saturday September 28 ““ every trick from his own book, in fact!
The Deliciouslyorkshire Champion will be demonstrating how to prepare and assemble his ‘Pressed Greedy Little Pig Terrine’ from his Bilton Basics cookbook, with two live demos at Huddersfield’s Waterstones bookstore between 1pm and 3pm, with book signings and tastings.
“My book is all about giving home cooks the know-how to whip up delicious restaurant-standard meals in their own home,” says Tim, who opened The Spiced Pear Hepworth restaurant and tearooms in May. “I want to show people how to get the basics right and, most importantly, taste test the results!”
Bilton Basics shares more than 50 of Tim’s favourite recipes in a simple, easy-to-read format, alongside store cupboard secrets and in-depth guides that include how to select meat and fish cuts, how to prepare and roast a turkey, and how to make basic sauces and stocks.
