BIG Yorkshire Brunch at Lockwoods

Lockwoods is helping to celebrate Farmhouse Breakfast Week on Sunday 20th January with a BIG Yorkshire Brunch.

Farmhouse Breakfast Week is an annual celebration championing the importance of breakfast which aims to get the nation to ‘Shake Up Their Wake
Up!’

According to the organisers 47% of people regularly skip breakfast so Farmhouse Breakfast Weeks’ aim is to encourage people to enjoy a healthy breakfast more regularly. At Lockwoods serves breakfast everyday and believes that with all the fantastic local produce available there is no reason not to enjoy a fantastic BIG breakfast every day.

Events are happening all around the country from the 20th-­”26th January to celebrate all that is great about breakfast.

Matthew Lockwood says “breakfast doesn’t have to be boring, there are so many different ways to make it varied and interesting and its gives you fuel for the day ahead!”

The brunch menu at Lockwoods features ingredients from some of the best local and regional producers, some of which will be joining the brunch. Potters Eggs of Catton, Taste Traditions of Thirsk and Masham Sausages are among the suppliers taking part.

Lockwoods restaurant has always believed in using local produce and has been a member of the Deliciously Yorkshire Breakfast club since it began. Breakfast and brunch is a great social occasion and an opportunity to relax with family and friends with coffee and the papers.
