Castle Howard unveil delicious summer events programme

The team at historic North Yorkshire based Castle Howard have unveiled their upcoming programme of foodie events.

Amongst the special events are their Spring Afternoon Teas which will be available to visitors on 25th – 26th May as well as a Beef and Beer Dinner on 17th May.

The team are also set to welcome MasterChef Professionals Finalists Alex and Philli, who will create a Six Course Tasting Menu on 24th April

Alex and Philli will be collaborating on a seasonal menu showcasing the best Yorkshire ingredients, sourced from Castle Howard’s local suppliers and from the Estate itself, and hosted in the stately home’s historic Grecian Hall.

The event builds on their recent successful, sell-out supper clubs hosted by British-Iranian chef Sabrina Ghayour, and Castle Howard’s own Head Chef Nathan Richardson-Kelly with Sabrina returning with a 10th Anniversary of the Persiana Supper Club, on 23rd May and Solstice Fireside Feast, 20th June

Concluding their delicious programme will be a Venison and Gin Dinner held on 14th September, which will see guests sampling a range of spirits created by local producers Sloemotion Distillery and include a range of offerings including Castle Howard’s own gin, made using ingredients foraged and harvested from the Estate.  Guests will dine on wild venison sourced from the Estate itself, prepared by Head Chef Nathan and served in the Grecian Hall.
