Deliciouslyorkshire Welcome New Board Members.

Deliciouslyorkshire, the Regional Food Group for Yorkshire and the Humber have welcomed a number of new Directors onto their Board.

The new arrivals include Richard Holmes, Managing Director of Cryer & Stott Cheesemongers Ltd, co-founder of Leeds based branding agency CHILLI, David Whittle, Razan Alsous, founder and owner of Yorkshire Dama Cheese, Jennie Palmer, Marketing Manager of Yorkshire Rapeseed Oil, Chris Wildman, a 5th generation butcher and owner at Town End Farm Shop, and Steve Ashman, Service and Sales Director of Rounton Coffee Roasters.

The recently appointed Chair Mark Stoddart said ”The new appointments come after a sustained period of growth for the business network, who are proud to support members from all corners of the county, championing Yorkshire and the Humber food and drink business since 1989. 

“Our organisation is built on an ethos of working together to promote businesses of all shapes and sizes throughout Yorkshire and the Humber, and these new board members bring with them a huge knowledge of the food industry as well as endless passion and enthusiasm which will help us do just that.”

Deliciouslyorkshire are also responsible for the annual Taste Awards.  Now in their 18th year they are biggest food and drink accolades in the North of England, they attract hundreds of entries each year, with this year’s event already accepting entry applications.

Allison continues: “Last year’s Awards were the first since the Lockdowns and there was a real buzz and sense of getting back to business.  We look forward to this year’s event building on that success, and we’d welcome food and drink business from throughout the region to get involved and shine a spotlight on their fantastic products and businesses on an exciting regional stage.”
