Deliciouslyorkshire New Pop-Up Airport Shop

Thousands of international visitors will be able to enjoy a true taste of Yorkshire this Christmas thanks to a new Deliciouslyorkshire pop up shop at Leeds Bradford Airport.

The new shop, which opened on Monday 27th November in the departures lounge, will offer visitors to the airport a fantastic selection of Yorkshire food and drink from many well known and loved artisan producers.

Some 36 businesses from throughout the region will have their products showcased to the 120,000 visitors who pass through the airport over the festive season, including a range of local beers, spirits, jams, chutneys and sweet treats.

As well as the opportunity to sample some of the fantastic Yorkshire food and drink, visitors will also have the chance to win a stunning hamper from Harrogate based Fodder, worth £100.

The pop-up shop was officially opened for the festive season on Tuesday 28th November by local Chef Consultant Steph Moon, who was recently crowned Yorkshire Food Hero for her work and passionate championing of local produce.

Judy Bell, Chairman of Deliciouslyorkshire said: “We’re thrilled to have the opportunity to team up with Leeds Bradford Airport  and showcase some fantastic food and drink producers to such a huge audience over the Christmas period.  We hope that visitors will enjoy discovering some new and exciting local products and use it as an opportunity to buy some Yorkshire goodies for Christmas gifts.”
