Delifresh launch Young Chef of the Year competition

Delifresh have launched their annual Young Chef of the Year competition for 2023.

Open to all trainee and professional chefs under the age of 25, the winner of the prestigious competition will get the opportunity to work alongside Michelin-starred chef Adam Smith (Woven – Ascot) and enjoy a luxury 3-day trip to France including a trip to the renowned Rungis International Market.

Eighteen chefs will be selected for the regional heats (Harrogate, Liverpool and Newcastle) by an expert judging panel made up of industry legends, including chefs Gareth Ward, Adam Smith, Tom Spenceley, Stephanie Moon, Aiden Byrne, Andrew Pern to name but a few.

Two finalists from each regional heat will then go head-to-head in the final to be held at The Cookery School at The Grand York in November 2023.
