This year’s Delciouslyorkshire and Yorkshire Post Taste Award ceremony is approaching fast and the public are being encouraged to get their tickets asap!
The ultimate celebration of Yorkshire’s fantastic food and drink scene, the awards are a showcase for the best products produced in the county and along with a delicious 3 course locally sourced meal and dancing ‘til dawn, the glittering awards ceremony is set to be the best yet!
Over 300 products and businesses have been entered from across the county and have been judged by our team of experts, including top chefs and food critics, supermarkets buyers and producers to determine who will be crowned Taste Award champion 2015 across 24 delicious categories!
The evening will also see the announcement of this year’s Local Food Hero award who’s nominees are put forward by the businesses entering the awards but who’s winner has been determined by public vote with over 1500 votes cast over the last 4 weeks.
Run in association with Asda, the black tie event taking place at the Pavilions of Harrogate will be hosted by BBC Radio 2 Food Critic Nigel Barden and Deliciouslyorkshire Chairwoman Judy Bell from Shepherd’s Purse Cheeses.
