Drewtons open Drive-Thru

The team at an East Yorkshire farm shop have been working hard over recent weeks to continue to deliver a vital food service to their local community.

Drewton’s based at South Cave have implemented a number of initiatives in their award-winning farm shop in order to keep the business running during the lockdown period including launching their new Drive Thu and free delivery services.

The team are also operating a click and collect service which allows customers to order their shopping and collect at a designated time, allowing staff and customers to avoid contact.

Owner Katie Taylor said: We have many options available to customers depending on their circumstances and needs.  The farm shop itself is open as usual and we’ve been limiting customer access but realised that this wasn’t suitable for everyone, so our new ways of shopping have helped accommodate more of our customer’s needs.

“We’ve put together a suggested shopping guide on our website as well as a video giving a virtual tour of the shop.   Our fantastic team of chefs and butchers are also busy creating some fabulous meat packs and platters including BBQ packs, Afternoon Tea for Two, Ploughman’s and Italian Charcuterie on specific days of the week to make it easier for customers to shop.

“As ever we are continuing to work with and support as many local producers, farmers, growers and suppliers as possible and we’re proud to be able to provide this vital service for our local community.

Orders can be emailed to info@drewtons.co.uk to be collected from a dedicated collection point where the team will put the goods directly into customers cars.  More information on the drive thru and free delivery service (covering a 3 mile radius of the shop) can be found on their Facebook page and on their website www.drewtons.co.uk
