East Yorkshire Brewery celebrates gluten free shortlist.

An East Yorkshire micro brewery is celebrating after its best selling gluten free beer has been shortlisted for a national award.

Wold Top Against the Grain, brewed by Wold Newton based Wold Top Brewery, has been shortlisted in the Gluten Free Beer category of the Free From Food Awards.

Commenting on the nomination, brewery owner Gill Mellor said; _”We’re really pleased that Wold Top Against the Grain has been recognised by the organisers of the awards as one of the country’s leading gluten free beers. We have done exceptionally well to compete with much larger breweries to reach this point.”_

The Free From Food Awards are organised by Foods Matter, the leading on and offline resource for allergen intolerance and sensitivity, and the results will be announced at a presentation and networking party hosted by Anthony Worrall Thompson on 17th April 2012 at the Museum of London in Docklands, London.
