A Yorkshire Wolds poultry company is celebrating the anniversary of a prestigious business win.
Last year, Middleton on the Wolds-based business Soanes Poultry was invited to supply Slimming World Kitchen with award-winning Yorkshire chicken for its subscription-based recipe boxes.
Soanes Poultry’s MD, Ben Lee, said: “A year ago, we were invited to supply chicken fillets for Slimming World Kitchen’s healthy recipe boxes. Since then, they have added lean thigh meat and sliced and diced fillet to their recipe boxes as demand for low-calorie protein grows.
“We’re now proud to supply 100% of the chicken used in Slimming World Kitchen’s delicious, nutritious recipe boxes. There’s a choice of 20 different dishes packed full of delicious, fresh ingredients every week, and many are chicken-based. Our favourites are Saucy Jerk Chicken with Chips and Slaw and Tandoori Chicken with Kachumber Rice and Minty Raita.”
