Enjoy a Pink Yorkshire Sunset this Valentine’s Day

A North Yorkshire wine producer is encouraging wine lovers to go pink this Valentine’s Day with their selection of award winning rose wines.

Westow based, Ryedale Vineyards produce a range of delicious local wines, including a selection of rose editions which are ideal for a Valentine’s Day treat.

The full range are made exclusively from Ryedale’s Yorkshire grown grapes and fermented in the vineyard’s own winery, one of the most northerly in Britain, giving a distinctly local flavour to their selection.

Stuart Smith, owner of Ryedale Vineyards said: “Our range of rose wines are the perfect tipple for Valentine’s Day.  Light and fruity, there is something to suit everyone’s taste.  Our award winning A Taste of Paradise is a wickedly moreish soft rose with gentle bubbles or our ever popular Yorkshire Sunset, is a very versatile dry still wine and particularly heavenly with Shepherds Purse Yorkshire Blue cheese.  If you’re looking for something a little sweeter our medium rose is Shepherds Delight, a lovely slightly sweet drink and the perfect accompaniment with desserts.”

No stranger to winning awards as well as praise from their legion of loyal fans, over the past 12 months the Vineyard has won a whole host of accolades including a medal in the International Wine Challenge 2015 for A Taste of Paradise, the first Yorkshire wine to do so, as well as being awarded Winemaker of the Year and Best Wine from the Northern Area.
