Farmer Copleys Pumpkin Festival Returns for 2026

Farmer Copleys’ much-loved Pumpkin Festival returns to Pontefract this autumn, with more than 300,000 homegrown pumpkins, new attractions and live music.

Running from 26th September to 1st November 2026, the annual Pumpkin Festival at Ravensknowle Farm will once again transform the Yorkshire farm into a colourful autumn destination for families from across the region and beyond.

Visitors will be able to wander through fields filled with homegrown pumpkins across over 40 different varieties, ranging from traditional orange to striking white, green and striped varieties.

Visitors can choose the perfect pumpkin to take home, and the fields will provide an impressive backdrop for autumn photographs, with photo opportunities located throughout the festival, including a brand-new Land Rover photo installation, bringing together one of Farmer Copleys’ own vintage Land Rovers with a new Land Rover kindly loaned to the farm for the festival.

Also new for this year’s festival is an exciting blend of Autumn celebrations and wellness in the form of Pumpkin Pilates. During the first weekend of the festival, the farm will be hosting a Pumpkin Pilates event where ticket holders can enjoy early morning sessions within the pumpkin fields, before heading down to Moo Café for breakfast and finishing off with a day within the magical Pumpkin festival.

Farmer Copleys Owner Rob Copley said: “Pumpkin Festival is such a special time of year for us and something the whole team works towards for months. We grow hundreds of thousands of pumpkins here on the farm, but we’ve always wanted the festival to be about much more than simply choosing a pumpkin.”

The festival’s fancy dress stage has also been upgraded for 2026, ready for the daily fancy dress competitions and during selected festival dates there will also be live music, bringing an additional atmosphere to the fields throughout the season.
