The team at a West Yorkshire farm shop are celebrating after winning two prestigious accolades at the recent 2025 Farm Shop & Deli Retailer Awards.
Family run Farmer Copleys, based at Ravensknowle Farm near Pontefract were named the Best Large Retailer in the Fam Shop category at the Farm Shop & Deli Show last week as well as being crowned Best Retailer in the North of England region too.
Founded in 2003 by Robert and Heather Copley, the business has become an important part of the local community with a thriving farm shop, Moo Café, function space and events centre, all created with the aim to showcase the best of British agriculture and engage their customers with the countryside
Heather Copley, Owner of Farmer Copleys said: “We were over the moon to be announced as double winners at the Farm Shop & Deli Show. After over 20 years in business, winning this award really is the icing on the cake against such fantastic farm shops and businesses throughout the UK.
“It has always seemed to be one that eludes us through the years, and it means an awful lot to us and the team who work so hard throughout the year and thoroughly deserve the recognition from the judges.”
Alongside picking up a number of industry awards over the last two decades the team attract visitors from across the region and beyond with their programme of seasonal events including their popular Tulip Festival, PYO Pumpkins and Christmas events amongst others.
