Father’s Day at the Hovels

The team at the Harewood Food & Drink Project are set to host a special Father’s Day event on Sunday 21st June.

Head Chef Will Campbell will be firing up the BBQ to cook a summer feast for the whole family to share, with many  of the ingredients sourced from the Estate itself.

The menu will include medium-rare flank steak with BBQ onion, grilled chicken thighs with wild garlic flower honey glaze and sugarpit-cured beef cheek with spent coffee and black treacle, all served with wild garlic mac & cheese, butterhead lettuce salad, house pickles and cheesy potato skins.

The lunch will finish with a loaded bowl of profiteroles with smoked caramel, hedgerow cream and a selection of toppings and each Dad will receive a complimentary pint of beer provided by Northern Monk brewery as part of the celebrations.
