2 additional DY christmas fairs announced at Castle Park, Doncaster Rugby Club. 17th and 26th December.
Delicious festive food and entertainment and Santa’s reindeer are coming to Castle Park this month as the Deliciously Yorkshire Christmas market rolls into town. Doncaster Knights Rugby Club will play host to the wonderful Christmas market, featuring Alpine-style chalets selling traditional festive food and drink from members of deliciouslyorkshire.
The extravaganza doesn’t end there ““ as the magical Christmas wonderland is also being visited by real reindeer from Lapland, who can be petted while you watch Santa draw up in his sleigh and hand out traditional gifts to children. There will also be carol singers and the opportunity to check out Castle Park’s 50 real Christmas trees, including a 20ft giant in the De Mulder Lloyd Stand.
The market is combined with 2 big Knights match days on Saturday 17th December, as the team take on Swansea, and on Boxing Day against local rivals Leeds Carnegie.
Entry to the market is FREE for those quoting the word ‘KNIGHTS’ on entry and gates open at midday. Castle Park have teamed up with leading Events Company Angels Event Ltd, Harrogate to set out a annual events programme at Castle Park.
A Winter wonderland theme has been installed at the venue benefiting over 2000 guests throughout the Christmas period.
The 2 Christmas markets are family based days in combination with 2 big games allowing all to witness the impressive facilities at the club for events, conferences and weddings. In the Spring Castle Park will be staging its own wedding and the launch of its tailored, combined hospitality and dressing packages. Castle Park is looking forward to working much closer with deliciously Yorkshire in the future.
