General Food Market Manager Required for New Farm Shop Opening
An established and rapidly expanding successful 3 generation independent retailer, with a reputation for delivering exceptional service and quality of goods will be opening a modern state of the art Food Market in summer 2012
We are looking for a hugely ambitious manager who has drive, determination and passion to make our New Food Market a champion of local & regional food within South Yorkshire
Successful candidates should be able to demonstrate the following
* Experienced gained as a fresh food/ambient/butchery/baker/deli manager in a food retail environment
* Experience in running a busy cafe / restaurant
* Strong management skills- legislation, training & recruitment , organisation and people person
* A keen eye for detail
* Natural ability to engage with our customers and staff alike , have the confidence to talk competently about Artisan foods and producers
* An understanding of systems and procedures
* Stocks and financial process systems including delivering P&L
* Passionate about local & regional food and drinks
