A family run brewery have announced the appointment of a new chef for their newly opened bar in Harrogate.
Harrogate Brewing Co acquired The Old Bell Tavern building located in the centre of the town earlier this year and opened its doors to the town’s craft beer lovers in April.
New chef, James North, has now come on board and designed an exciting new menu, which includes bar snacks that perfectly pair with a pint, small plates and sharers to have amongst friends and of course a classic Sunday roast.
Owner Julie Joyce who runs Harrogate Brewing Co alongside husband Joe said: “We’re aiming for pub classics with a twist. Quality ingredients, creative flair, and a commitment to championing independent, local businesses.
“The menu will be consciously updated to reflect seasonality and we’ll be actively incorporating our beers into dishes, such as our Salted Caramel Porter into the sauce of our sticky toffee pudding!
“James has worked in leading London gastropubs and restaurants since 2017 and brings with him a strong focus on sustainability and ethical sourcing, which we hope to reflect in our menus.”
The new menus will be available on Wednesday – Saturday each week, from opening until 8.30pm and on Sunday’s from 12pm – 4pm. For more information visit www.harrogatebrewery.co.uk
