HINCHLIFFE’S EMBARKS ON FOUR-DAY, FOUR-MARQUEE FOOD EXTRAVAGANZA AT FESTIVAL!

Hinchliffe’s Farm Shop will be going mobile in August when it brings the best of its butchers and farm shop to the Huddersfield Food and Drink Festival ““ taking over the biggest stand at the show.

Sweets, cider and juicy steaks will all be on offer at Hinchliffe’s stall from August 8-11, which will cover four marquees in St George’s Square, with a barbecue of gourmet burgers, a pop-up farm shop ““ serving everything from biscuits and bottled beers to preserves and pickles ““ and a bar selling cold beverages, not forgetting the butchers counter with their award-winning pork pies, sausages and steaks.

Freshly roasted brews from local coffee roasters Grumpy Mule Coffee, and cider from Rekorderlig ““ which sponsors Huddersfield Town Football Club and is distributed worldwide by Huddersfield-born Kieron Barton ““ will also be there to quench the thirst of festival-goers.

As an added bonus, the festival marquees will stay open late on Friday and Saturday evening to give crowds the chance to soak up the live music and squeeze in a late-night nibble.

“We’ve got a lot on our plate this year!” says Hinchliffe’s Simon Hirst. “And we’re going to be doing our best to ensure the festival tops its record 150,000 visitor tally. We’re a long-time supporter of the festival, one of the biggest in Yorkshire, and the four-day event promises to be as delicious as ever with chef demos, workshops, kids’ entertainment and sampling sessions ““ just make sure you don’t eat lunch before you come and see us!”
