Hornsea farm shop to host a pumpkin festival

An award-winning Hornsea Farm Shop and Cafe is set to host a pumpkin festival to keep the children entertained this half term.

William’s Farm Kitchen will be holding the festival at Hornsea Freeport Outlet Village between 11am and 4pm everyday from Saturday October 25 to Friday October 31.

Mark Farnsworth, William’s Farm Kitchen owner, said it is a wonderful half term activity for children of all ages to take part in that uses pumpkins that have only travelled three miles from Bewholme.

“We want everyone to get into the Halloween spirit, so we’re inviting families to join in with our spooky Halloween-themed fun and games.

“Children and families will be able to pick their own pumpkins from our selection and carve them with the free pumpkin carving kit included.

“We’re also looking forward to seeing some fabulous outfits in our fancy dress costume competition on the day of Halloween, Friday October 31st, with the winner being announced at 3.30pm.”

Throughout the week, Spookley the Square Pumpkin will be on hand to help out with festivities that include games and activities, a craft workshop, a Halloween trail, face painting, a bouncy castle and a Halloween style Rodeo bull.

Pumpkins will be available in small, medium and large sizes at prices of £2.50, £3.00 and £3.50 respectively.

For more information on the fancy dress costume competition, entrants are invited to visit William’s Farm Kitchen during half term week or call 01964 204301.
