Huddersfield based Greedy Little Pig gets a Twitter Boost from Theo Paphitis

A Huddersfield-based firm received a business boost from TV Dragons’ Den star Theo Paphitis. Last week, Carl Slingsby, owner of Greedy Little Pig, tweeted Theo about his business during ‘Small Business Sunday’, an initiative set up by Theo that runs weekly.

Theo re-tweeted Carl’s message to his 260,000 followers and as a result, the business www.greedylittlepig.co.uk has 200 more followers and extra orders for their Hog Roasts and Artisan prepared Charcuterie. They are also profiled on a new website (www.theopaphitissbs.com) that is exclusive to Small Business Sunday winners.

Carl Slingsby said, “We’ve only been in business for 18 months developing our current range of Charcuterie, Chorizo & Hog Roasts. It is great to have support from Theo because it’s been tough trying to raise our profile and Theo has recognized our hard work and helped spread the word about what we do to his following. This will certainly support the launch of our new exciting Greedy Little Pig product range, which we will share with you soon.”

Anyone looking for a re-tweet from Theo should tweet him about their business on Sunday between 5PM and 7.30PM and include the hashtag #SBS. Six lucky businesses are re-tweeted every Monday at 8PM and then invited to enter their profile on the new website. This is done free of charge and the new website is sponsored by Ryman Stationary, where Theo is Chairman.
